Rev. Rob Edwards
Rev. Rob Edwards currently serves as Senior Pastor at Bayside Christian Church in Virginia Beach, Va. Pastor Edwards has served in many leadership roles in the Eastern Virginia Association. He has served as President of the Association, Chair of Church and Ministry Commission and as President of the Clergy Association. He has been instrumental in partnering with the Conference in the development of the Mid-Winter Bible Initiative and other programmatic matters. His spirit and his gift of leadership will serve the Association during this interim time.
The Tidewater/Hampton Roads Region of Virginia — from Petersburg to Virginia Beach to the state line — has borne witness to some of the most important moments in American history. Today, the area is home to a large US Navy presence, bases representing every branch of military service, and 40 UCC congregations. We want churches to send in their special programming dates to their Association so that it can be added to the Association and Conference Calendar.
